Ten weeks of aerobic training reshaped heart-nerve clusters in rats

What the research found
ScienceDaily reported on 26 October 2026 a University of Bristol study of rats that did 10 weeks of moderate aerobic training. Stereology of the stellate ganglia found the right-side cluster held about four times as many neurons as the left, and neuron size changed in opposite directions. Evidence level: Animal study. Results in animals or cells often don't carry over to people.
