VitaLonga is an educational longevity resource, not a pharmacy, clinic, or doctor. Content is not medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease (DSHEA). Supplements can interact with medications and are not appropriate in every pregnancy or health condition. Consult a licensed clinician, especially if you take medications, are pregnant or nursing, or have a diagnosed condition.

We do not sell personal information. We do not run advertising SDKs or App Tracking Transparency (ATT) in the VitaLonga mobile app. We do not use data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Account, profile, and date of birth
If you create a member record we store your email and password hash, optional profile fields you enter (sex, height, weight, activity, diet, training type, pregnancy when applicable, conditions/medications free text, goals), and calculator history you save. We prefer a date of birth or birth year instead of a bare age; we derive display age and editorial news bands from that. We do not invent a birthday from an old age field.
When the mobile app syncs HealthKit or Health Connect demographics (date of birth, biological sex, height, weight), we store those as synced values and may fill empty profile fields. You can override them on the website member record.
HealthKit and Health Connect
The VitaLonga iOS/Android app can read recent (last 7–30 days) samples if you grant permission. Read-only types we request: steps, active energy, heart rate, sleep, and workouts. On iOS we may also read date of birth, biological sex, height, and weight when the OS exposes them in the same HealthKit prompt. We do not write to Apple Health or Health Connect. Deny is respected; the rest of the app still works. Website file import (Apple export.xml / FIT / TCX / CSV) is a fallback.
Purpose: show your own recent activity on your private member record and optional educational daily coach — not diagnosis or treatment. Retention: daily summaries and workouts stay until you erase health data or delete the account. Garmin metrics arrive only if you already mirror Garmin into Apple Health or Health Connect; we do not run Garmin Connect OAuth.
Daily coach (AI / LLM processor)
If Daily coach is on (default on; opt out in Settings → Alerts), a nightly job may send a compact, aggregated JSON summary of recent synced stats (for example step/sleep ranges, not raw HealthKit sample streams) to VitaLonga’s OpenAI-compatible API gateway at aiapi.canegrow.com, operated for Techmark, to draft an educational training note. The gateway is a processor of that summary. We do not use it for advertising. No key is embedded in the app. The member pref is daily_coach (default on). Uncheck Daily coach in Settings to opt out and stop new briefs. Educational only — not a clinician, not a prescription.
Push tokens
If you grant the phone notification permission, we store an Expo push token so we can send optional profile-matched news alerts. That pref is default on after you grant OS permission; uncheck it in Settings to stop. We do not send Expo without a token. Browser Web Push is not used in v1. Camera is used only to scan a website QR so the app can log into your member; you can paste the pairing code instead.
Payments (website only)
Stripe checkout and subscriptions run on the website, not inside the iOS/Android app. If you buy a recurring bottle on vitalonga.org, Stripe processes payment; we keep the customer and order identifiers needed to bill and ship. Optional iHerb links are third-party affiliate discovery, not VitaLonga checkout.
Erase and delete
In the app: Account → Erase health data (POST /api/wearables/phone/erase) removes wearable daily stats, workouts, connections, and phone sessions for that member; login can remain. Account → Delete account (POST /api/account/delete) permanently deletes the member record (Apple 5.1.1(v) / Play). You can also request access or deletion from the signed-in website or by emailing [email protected].
Children
VitaLonga is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Educational / DSHEA
VitaLonga is not a clinic, pharmacy, or medical device. Content is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Supplements and training notes are educational. Talk to a licensed clinician before changing medicines, pregnancy plans, or training.
