Health experts rank daily habits ahead of biohacks for healthy aging

What the research found
Commentary (expert survey). U.S. News’s 2026 Healthy Aging Survey of 63 clinicians, dietitians, and researchers (July–August 2026) ranked consistent physical activity (89%) and a nutrient-dense diet (89%) as the top factors for healthy aging, with restorative sleep third (30%). Fifty-nine percent named social isolation the most underappreciated accelerator of biological aging. Seventy-six percent warned that accelerated muscle loss is a serious threat for people using GLP-1 medicines. This is expert opinion, not a clinical trial and not a product protocol. Strength, aerobic, balance, and mobility work plus food-first nutrition remain the basics; supplements are not a substitute for those habits.
Evidence level: Clinical trial. This is among the stronger kinds of evidence, but one study rarely settles a question.
Not medical advice. Not a substitute for a prescribed medicine. Off-label prescription use is clinician-only. VitaLonga does not diagnose, treat, or cure disease. Never start, stop, or replace a prescription with a supplement on the basis of a headline.
